Paint Correction
Stage 1 Paint Correction
"Restore Gloss. Remove Swirls. Reveal True Colour"
Over time, even careful washing leaves behind light swirl marks, haze, and fine
scratches that rob your paint of its depth and shine. Our Stage 1 Paint Correction
is the perfect introduction to the world of machine polishing — designed to
remove those light imperfections and restore a rich, mirror-like gloss. This
service is ideal for newer cars, lightly used vehicles, or anyone wanting to
take their paint from “nice” to jaw-dropping.
The Process
1. Exterior Wash – Safe Preparation
Before correction, your car receives a thorough wash using our two-bucket method and pH-balanced shampoo. Wheels, arches, and jambs are also cleaned, ensuring the paint surface is spotless before correction begins.
2. Panel Preparation – Clay Bar & Prep Spray
To ensure a flawless correction, we use a clay bar treatment to remove bonded contaminants that regular washing can’t touch — things like tree sap, tar, and industrial fallout. Once the surface is glassy smooth, we apply a panel prep spray to strip away any remaining oils or waxes. This leaves the paint perfectly bare, ready for polishing.
3. Stage 1 Correction – Light Polish for Gloss Enhancement
Using a dual-action machine polisher, we work a fine polish across each panel. This carefully refines the top layer of clear coat, removing light swirl marks, micro scratches, and surface haze. The result is dramatically increased gloss, sharper reflections, and paintwork that feels silky smooth to the touch.
✨ Did you know? Many new cars are delivered with light swirl marks from dealership washes. A Stage 1 Correction can often make a “brand-new” car look better than when it left the showroom.
What Stage 1 Can & Can’t Do
-
✅ Removes light swirl marks, haze, and micro marring.
-
✅ Restores gloss, depth, and clarity to the paint.
-
✅ Perfect for newer vehicles, light-coloured cars, or well-maintained paint.
-
❌ Won’t fully remove deep scratches, heavy swirl marks, or oxidation — that requires Stage 2 or Multi-Stage Paint Correction.
Why Choose Stage 1 Correction?
-
Biggest bang-for-buck – A huge visual improvement without going into full restoration.
-
Safe & effective – Performed with professional machines, pads, and polishes.
-
Ideal first step – Perfect for customers who want to experience correction without the full cost of multi-stage.
-
Enhances resale value – Glossy, swirl-free paint makes any car look years younger.
The Result
After a Stage 1 Paint Correction, your vehicle will shine with a refined, glassy finish that most people never achieve with basic washing and waxing. Colours appear richer, reflections are sharper, and the overall look is more luxurious.
This package is perfect if your car is relatively new, lightly used, or you simply want to experience the transformation that only professional polishing can achieve.

Stage 2 Paint Correction
"Erase the Years. Reveal the True Beauty of Your Paint!"
If your car’s paint has lost its sparkle, looks tired in the sunlight, or is covered in visible
swirls and scratches, our Stage 2 Paint Correction is the answer. This process goes far
beyond a light polish. Using a combination of cutting compounds and refining polishes,
we carefully remove years of wear, restoring your paintwork to a deep, flawless,
mirror-like gloss.
The Process
1. Exterior Wash – Laying the Foundation
We begin with a safe hand wash using the two-bucket method, foam pre-wash, and premium shampoos. Wheels, arches, and door jambs are also cleaned. This ensures the paint surface is spotless before correction begins.
2. Panel Preparation – Clay Bar & Panel Prep Spray
Once the wash is complete, we clay-bar the entire vehicle. This removes embedded contaminants like tar, sap, and industrial fallout, leaving the paint glassy smooth. A panel wipe then removes all waxes, sealants, and oils, ensuring a perfectly bare surface ready for machine correction.
3. Stage 2 Correction – Compound & Polish
This is where the magic happens. Using a dual-action or rotary machine polisher, we perform a two-step correction:
-
Cutting Stage – A carefully chosen abrasive compound paired with a cutting pad removes heavier swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation. This levels the clear coat to eliminate visible paint defects.
-
Polishing Stage – A finer polish is then worked in with softer pads to refine the finish, enhance gloss, and remove any haze left from compounding.
The result is a dramatic transformation — paintwork that looks like it has been completely reborn.
✨ Did you know? Even brand-new cars often have visible swirl marks from dealership washes and transport. A Stage 2 Correction can make your car look better than new by refining the paint to a higher standard than it left the factory.
What Stage 2 Can & Can’t Do
-
✅ Removes visible swirl marks, scratches, and paint haze.
-
✅ Restores depth, gloss, and clarity to tired or oxidised paint.
-
✅ Ideal for darker cars, where imperfections show more clearly.
-
❌ Cannot fully fix extremely deep scratches or rock chips (these require paint touch-ups or wet sanding).
Why Choose Stage 2 Correction?
-
Showroom finish – Restores paint to a high-gloss, reflective finish.
-
Professional craftsmanship – Achieved with precision machines, compounds, and years of detailing expertise.
-
Value booster – Significantly improves resale value and presentation.
-
Perfect prep – Often chosen before applying long-term ceramic coatings for maximum effect.
The Result
After a Stage 2 Paint Correction, your car’s paint will look dramatically different. Swirls and scratches that dulled the finish are gone, revealing a deep, liquid-gloss shine that reflects light like a mirror. Dark colours pop with richness, while metallic paints sparkle with clarity.
This is the package for anyone who wants their car to look better than brand new. Whether you’re preparing for sale, protecting your investment with a ceramic coating, or simply want to fall in love with your car again, Stage 2 is the serious transformation package.

Stage 3 Paint Correction
"The Last Line Before a Respray"
Some vehicles arrive with paint so heavily marred that a light polish or even a two-stage
correction isn’t enough. Years of poor washing, sun exposure, and neglect can leave
behind deep swirls, heavy scratches, oxidation, and severe imperfections. Our Stage 3
Paint Correction is a fully customised approach for cars in this condition. It’s not a
“quick fix” — it’s a carefully planned, multi-stage machine polishing process that uses
cutting compounds, refinishing polishes, and professional judgment to restore your
paint to the best condition possible without respraying.
The Process
1. Exterior Wash – Safe Preparation
We begin with a thorough wash and decontamination process, including foam pre-wash, hand wash, and wheel cleaning.
2. Panel Prep – Clay Bar & Panel Wipe
A clay bar is used to remove stubborn contaminants, followed by a panel wipe to strip away waxes, sealants, and oils, leaving a perfectly bare surface.
3. Stage 3 Correction – Curated Multi-Stage Approach
Unlike Stage 1 or 2, this service isn’t a fixed “one-size-fits-all” process. We use a curated combination of compounds, pads, and polishing techniques tailored to your specific paint type and level of damage:
-
Heavy Cutting Stage – Aggressive compounding to tackle deep swirls, scratches, and oxidation.
-
Refinement Stage – Medium-cut polishing to smooth out the surface and reduce haze.
-
Finishing Stage – Ultra-fine polishing to maximise clarity and gloss.
Depending on the severity, multiple passes may be required across different areas of the car.
✨ Fact: Clear coat thickness varies from car to car. Every time paint is machine-polished, microscopic layers of clear coat are removed. This is why Stage 3 is done carefully and only when absolutely necessary — to avoid compromising the integrity of the paint.
Important Disclosure – Honesty First
Paint correction is not a replacement for a respray. While Stage 3 can dramatically improve the look of heavily damaged paint, there are limits:
-
If your car’s paint is severely faded, deeply scratched, or peeling, correction may not fully restore it.
-
In some cases, a respray is the only true fix. Since resprays can cost $8,000–$10,000, we understand that’s not always realistic.
-
We will always be upfront with you about what’s achievable. If we believe correction won’t improve the car enough, we’ll tell you honestly.
That said, if you’d like us to try our best at reviving the paint, we’ll create a custom plan tailored to your car’s condition — maximising results without compromising longevity.
Why Choose Stage 3 Correction?
-
Alternative to respray – For owners who can’t or don’t want to invest in a new paint job.
-
Custom process – Each car receives a unique plan based on paint condition.
-
Experience & honesty – We won’t upsell what won’t work; you’ll know exactly what to expect.
-
Maximum transformation – When successful, results can be life-changing for the car’s appearance.
The Result
Every Stage 3 Correction is different. For some cars, it means turning a chalky, scratched, faded mess into something you’re proud to drive again. For others, it may simply mean improving the look while buying you more time before a respray becomes unavoidable.
Either way, this is a last-chance service — a carefully executed, professional attempt to make your paint look as good as possible given its condition.
